    Over the last 20 years, Eng. Ahmed has held different positions at different levels of management and leadership roles across Golis Group companies and has gained invaluable and long experiences in the business industries of telecommunication, banking, money remittance and energy. Under his leadership, Eng. Ahmed has succeeded to make these companies exponentially grow and dominate their respective markets.

    Luqmaan Mohamud Ahmed

    Over the last 20 years, Eng. Ahmed has held different positions at different levels of management and leadership roles across Golis Group companies and has gained invaluable and long experiences in the business industries of telecommunication, banking, money remittance and energy.

    Under his leadership, Eng. Ahmed has succeeded to make these companies exponentially grow and dominate their respective markets. For example, since Eng. Ahmed joined the Board of Directors and became the Acting Chairman of Golis Telecom, the company has grown to the one of the largest and leading telco companies in Somalia.

    Mr. Ahmed is chairman of Gobaad Energy company, Gobaad provide electrical energy in as many as more than 30 cities. Mr Ahmed was appointed this position on Feb 2018.

    He participated many local and International Seminars, events and workshops and training from GSMA, ITU, WAS, Telecom World, Intelsat, Huawei, ZTE, Comfone, EDHC; thus, he acquired deep knowledge and experience in fintech and telecommunications and earned many Professional Certificates from different areas. Mr. Said was appointed this position on Jun 2020
